Jewelry Repair of Atlanta LLC is a Georgia limited liability company operating at 75 John Portman Blvd NW, Suite 8W356A, Atlanta, GA 30303. This policy explains refunds and cancellations for our services. Work performed on your property is also governed by our Repair Terms & Conditions.
Repair Services
You may cancel a repair before work has begun and receive a full refund of any amount paid, including any deposit.
Once work has begun, refund eligibility depends on how far the job has progressed. If we have started the intake process but have not yet performed physical work on your piece, your deposit may still be refundable. Once physical work has been performed, deposits and payments are non-refundable, because the labor and materials cannot be recovered.
Call us and we will tell you plainly where your job stands.
Custom Design and Manufacturing
Custom design and manufacturing orders are non-refundable once work has started. This includes 3D CAD design, casting, setting, and finishing.
Custom pieces are made to your specifications and cannot be resold. This is exactly why our process has you review and approve a rendering before anything goes into production. Take that stage seriously and request changes until the design is right — approval is the point of no return.
Rush Orders
Rush manufacturing orders — any manufacturing job requiring a finished product in fewer than four business days — require payment in full upfront and are non-refundable once work has started. The rush service fee is 40% of the order total.
Same-day jewelry repair is priced 25% above our next-day service rate.
Appraisals
Appraisal fees are non-refundable. The fee covers examination, testing, documentation, and professional time, all of which are expended whether or not you agree with the stated value.
Workmanship Warranty
Our workmanship is warranted for 30 days from the date you collect your piece, under conditions of normal wear. If our work fails within that period under normal wear, bring it back and we will correct it at no charge.
This warranty does not cover damage from impact, abrasion, chemical exposure, or misuse; normal wear to areas we did not repair; pre-existing conditions disclosed at intake; or loss of stones we did not set or secure.
Any repair attempted or completed by another jeweler on the piece after our work voids this warranty entirely.
Estimates
All quotes are estimates. We will always contact you and obtain approval before performing work beyond what you authorized or at a price above what we quoted.
