An engraving is the difference between a nice piece of jewelry and one that belongs to a specific person on a specific date. We engrave in-house in Downtown Atlanta, by hand and by machine, on pieces we made and pieces you bring us.

Hand versus machine
Machine engraving gives you clean, consistent lettering and is the right choice for most inside-band dates and initials. Hand engraving produces depth and character a machine can't reproduce, and it's what antique-style monograms and decorative scrollwork require. Curved surfaces, unusual shapes, and very small pieces often have to be done by hand regardless of preference. We'll tell you which your piece needs, and show you the layout before committing anything permanent to metal.
Common questions
Can you engrave a ring I didn't buy here? Yes. Bring it in and we'll check the band width and metal thickness to confirm what's possible.
Can engraving be removed later? Sometimes. It depends on how deep the original cut is and how much metal there is to work with. We'll assess it honestly rather than promise.
Can you copy my grandmother's handwriting? Yes. Send us a clear scan or photo and we'll reproduce it faithfully.
How long does it take? Machine engraving is often completed same day. Hand engraving and handwriting reproduction take longer.
