Our approach
We start by documenting the piece and identifying what's original versus what has been repaired before. Laser welding lets us work on fragile antique metal with far less heat than a torch, which protects patina, enamel, and heat-sensitive stones. Where material must be replaced, we match the period rather than defaulting to modern components. Nothing is done without showing you first.
A significant share of our work is pieces other jewelers turned away — discontinued designs, hopelessly tangled chains, and repairs the original maker said couldn't be done.
Common questions
My piece is discontinued. Can it still be fixed? Usually yes. We fabricate replacement components rather than depending on the manufacturer's parts.
Will restoring it hurt the value? Sensitive restoration generally preserves or improves value; heavy-handed modern repair can reduce it. We'll discuss the trade-offs with you before we begin.
Can you turn an inherited piece into something I'd actually wear? Yes. Redesigning using the original stones and metal is one of the most meaningful things we do.
